The “Lace” collection is a contemporary reinterpretation of an ancient Ukrainian fabric decoration technique — the openwork “cutwork,” known worldwide as Richelieu.
This technique once adorned festive shirts, ritual cloths, and handwoven tablecloths, adding elegance and solemnity. We have brought it into the present — onto silk, in a new palette that feels modern while honoring its roots.
“Lace” is a dialogue between past and present. The refinement of the historic ornament, created by the hands of skilled artisans, now lives in Latona’s light silk accessories — a reminder that true beauty lies in details, memory, and heritage.
